Hi, yes thanks, i did recover the data.

I was working on a research project and had to complete the analysis of 1.5m rows of data and write it up before a submission deadline. The Access database was getting large and i had compacted it but during a complex query Access froze and i could no longer access the data within the database. I tried various fixes with on-line help to no avail. With the deadline looming and by now it was 2am, I looked at Stellar recovery and the trial scan showed that the data could be recovered. I bought the software on-line and set it going and went to bed! I got up 6 hours later to find my data all recovered with no losses and i was able to complete the analysis and get the work submitted on-time.

I chose Stellar because the trial scan showed it worked and it was competitively priced for home use.

Thanks for a life saving product!. I guess my only concern was that it took 3.5 hours to recover the data and it might have been useful to have had a time estimate so i did not spend all my time anxiously staring at the screen. As it was, after 3 hours of struggling with other fixes i was ready for a break anyway. I could have re-built all the data from other sources but i estimated it would have taken 36 hours to do this so was happy to spend the money on Stellar Recovery.

Linux Data Recovery (Testimonial)

Yes, I recovered the importend part of my lost data sucessful. I used your Software Linux Data Recovery on a ext3 Partition. At first I was wondering, that it is a windows software for a Linux file system and was happy to the very fast parts of my lost data. After few tries I was able to recover some files, but all of them has a file size of zero bytes. I tried again and could recover in a second step the first files. I was happy. After the 4th day trying and doing I was able to recover the most importend data for me and could intergrate them into a new installed Linux system. Thank you for your great software. I will still keep it in my mind.

Another question - I recovered my data on my office pc in the company I am working for. Now I do not need the software anymore and would like to delete it and install it on my home pc with the license - is this possible ?

Mac Data Recovery (Testimonial)

I downloaded the free program - Stellar-Phoenix - and veerryy slloowwllyy it began to read files from the corrupted Camera SD chip into a file I created and called "Recovery". I went to bed while it was running. At about 5 in the morning I checked on it and it said it had completed the recovery process. I clicked on one of the restored file names and LO AND BEHOLD there was a small picture. I couldn't save it and all the icon tools for the program were grayed out except for the one that said, "buy the program on line". So I did - for $129. After entering two incredibly long activation codes it ran for another several hours and actually recovered all of the 700 plus pictures from the chip.

I recently purchased your data recovery software and let me tell you it was a life saver. I was working off of an external hard drive that i had partitioned when the fire wire cable got jerked out of the computer. i got the usual warning that i had unsafely removed a device and when i went to reconnect the hard drive, the entire partition was gone!! i tried everything to see if i could repair the partition to no avail. I went online and found your software. i downloaded the free trial version and installed it. it found the partition and all of the information on it. i the purchased the serial number and started it back up. I had reinitialized the hard drive on my computer after backing up the photos from both of my cameras. Well, it turned out that I had evidently backed up the same camera twice, so I lost a bunch of photos that I took last Christmas with my family, and other photos that I had taken on visits to the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville. I've only lost two flash cards with critical images.

I am an computer user with some knowledge and a little bit of education in networks and the interior mechanics of a computer.

I am used by a variety of users to bounce ideas off of. and advise if I can help with problems that some novice users experience from time to time.

A mate of mine had a hard disk (primary) fail and I was asked to assist with data recovery. First step was to approach a computer retail store that I use quite a lot and have a good association with.

The retailer said to leave the Hard Disk with them for a week and for a fee of $45 they would interogate the item. Retailer was unable to do anything with the hard drive and stated that he could send it to a place that for $200 may be able to assist further. My mate thought that it was not worth doing anything further, I said leave it with me and I would look at the hard disk. I search the internet and a tech web site recommended your product. (PC Authority mag). As there was a Demo available on your web site I downloaded the program and tried it. Excellant results it interogated that damaged partition and I was able to see the data (family photos excel spreadsheets etc) that my friend wanted. But surprise the recovery process required a fully registered and paid for version. I approached my friend and he agreed to pay !/2 the cost of the program, I purchaed same and recovered the information (data).

Outlook Pst Repair (Testimonial)

Would have replied sooner but I have been trying to get my new PC up to speed, and running stable (its Vista).

Your software worked perfectly, and recovered all of my Outlook files from my old PC. I did make one error the first time in not specifying a different location to send the recovered info, by default it sent it back to the Outlook file it came from (the one I could not locate). So I set up a folder on my desktop and sent the recovered files to that.

All I need to do now is import the recovered data into Outlook on my new PC, which I shall do once I am sure all is stable, hopefully in the next couple of days.

Your recovery software certainly did what it said it would, I would have no problem using your products again in the future, should the need arise.

The application did exactly as described and needed. I was able to fix and recover all the data in all the .pst files and was able to complete the project in the necessary time frame. The impact of the corrupted files could have cost my client many tens of thousands of dollars in fines if I was not able to recover the data. The corruption was not due to anything the client did, but that would not have mattered in this case the client would have still been liable.

The installation and functionality is simple to the point a novice can use it right out of the box.

This application has already paid for itself in the first use.

Windows Data Recovery (Testimonial)

A friend of my wife had XP behave awkwardly on her laptop. She purchased an external harddrive and had someone copy files over before doing a deep format and installing XP.
However, somehow her private photo album (of four years) never made it. My wife asked if there was anything I could do, I didn't think so. Phoenix recovery tool, however, made the process possible.

I had an installation problem, but the customer support was very helpful.

I have some complaints.
* It should warn you when you are attempting to save scan information data to the volume that you try to recover. I had not the slightest idea that it would generate a file well over 300 megabytes. And I couldn't abort it either. * Virtual memory can grow up in the gigs. This is very unfortunate if the files you try to recover is on the system volume. The software should instead use temporary files on a selectable medium.

The two above can be troubling if they mess up something you attempt to recover, in which case it will produce an error message and abort. Thus forcing you to rescan the volume which takes hours.

* The GUI becomes highly unresponsive due to the amount of data when scanning a whole volume. When selecting file types for recovery, I had to set a timer alarm for nine minutes because that's how long it took to check off a check box until the gui returned to allow me to check off the next one. Especially when you try to select all picture file types, this is highly unnecessary hassle. If it takes this long to select file types, at least it should queue the mouse clicks asynchronously so that I can do other stuff in the meantime. Maybe even give a noise when it is done until I start working on it again.

I recommend using this tool. It gets the job done. You tolerate the inconveniences when you are doing the "impossible".

Your software worked flawlessly. I had a boot drive that would continually loop and go into "safe mode" upon boot up. I could not boot into DOS to see what was out there. As a matter of fact, when I placed the drive in another machine and tried to access it, the drive was not recognized and I was asked to format it. I thought for sure this drive was trashed. I had over 3gb of photos on this drive. I first ran the free version on the faulty hard drive to see if it would even find what I was looking for. I am very pleased to inform you that the Stellar Phoenix Windows Data Recovery was able to recover files from my Western Digital removable hard drive very quickly and without any problems. I was afarid that the data would be lost for ever. I contacted a technical support team on our campus for some help; they were unable to recover it even after taking the hard disk apart. They suggested sending the crashed hard drive to a data recovery service center and also warned me it might cost a lot of money (ca. $1000) for a succesful recovery. I maintain business network for mid-size companies in Los Angeles and Orange Counties in Southern California.
I’ve come across several data recovery software and experienced relatively moderate success rate in my practice over the years.
Recently, my notebook computer has crashed and it was a hard disk problem. (I’ve never thought that my own computer would crash!)
I was devastated to recover what I can, however the crashed disk wouldn’t even respond to any other recovery methods that I’ve tried.
